TaVanni Singleton is the visionary founder of Mixy Events & Consulting, a boutique company known for creating social, fun, and delightfully unexpected experiences. With more than 20 years of event planning experience, she has led projects ranging from high-fashion runway shows to group getaways in Costa Rica, leaving her creative fingerprint on each one.

Mixy Events wasn’t always the name, however. It originally launched as LiveTV Events, a playful nod to TaVanni’s nickname “TV” (short for TaVanni). The journey of Mixy Events began in Shanghai, China, where TaVanni lived for five years. There, she launched her business and worked on international award-winning events such as Shanghai Black Fashion Week, a pioneering platform celebrating diversity in fashion, and Ladyfest, an international festival uplifting women in entertainment, business, and health. These experiences, and many others (highlighted on the Consulting Page of this site), gave her invaluable insights into large scale event production and a global perspective that continues to shape her work today. But as the company grew, so did its identity. The rebrand to Mixy Events & Consulting in 2020 was a natural evolution, perfectly capturing what the business had become: a vibrant, ever-evolving blend of energy, events, and experiences. Whether TaVanni and her team of Mixiologists are producing one-of-a-kind original events or collaborating with organizations, the word “Mixy” encapsulates the diversity of it all.

With a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, TaVanni’s background is rooted in program planning, which goes beyond typical event logistics. Her expertise includes setting clear goals, evaluating outcomes, and prioritizing communication, ensuring that each event not only runs smoothly but also delivers meaningful and measurable results and adds value to teams and patrons. Her innovative thinking shines through in every project, helping her design unique experiences that challenge the norm and engage audiences in fresh ways.

But what truly sets TaVanni apart is her love for life’s diversity. She started Mixy Events to create the kinds of experiences she would personally enjoy, and her interests are all over the map in the best possible way. One day you might find her at a chicken-raising class, and the next at a swanky cocktail party. This eclectic mix of passions drives her to curate events that push boundaries, spark thought-provoking conversations, and create connections between people from all walks of life.

TaVanni is currently working toward her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, bringing her passion for organization, strategy, and creativity to the next level. This milestone reflects her commitment to delivering projects on time and on point, whether it’s a one-time event or a complex project, while keeping the process engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved.
