The 3rd Annual Rondo Block Party was a hit!

What an incredible day! The 3rd Annual Rondo Block Party, held August 2, brought thousands of people together in celebration of culture, connection, and community pride. The smiles, laughter, and joy that filled the streets made this year’s event our biggest and best yet.

A True Collaboration

This year’s Block Party was made possible through the vision and hard work of Ronald Buford, Asia Anderson, and Adrian Perryman, all proud Rondo natives and residents, working with Marvin Anderson and Rondo Center for Diverse Expression. All of their leadership and commitment to honoring the past while celebrating the present made this gathering possible.

At Mixy Events, we were honored to contribute by providing logistics, planning, resources, communication support, and coordination. As a Rondo native myself, it was deeply meaningful to bring my skills to the table to help create a space where thousands could come together for love, music, food, and fellowship.

Can you believe it? Next year marks the 4th Annual Rondo Block Party! Each year we grow bigger and better, welcoming thousands of people who come to celebrate Rondo’s enduring legacy.
